Message Couple of weeks back I made a post about having to put my stock wheels back on the front since the tires on my front 350Z wheels were completely bald.

So Joe (Spddracer) offered to send me a pair almost brandnew Bridgestone Potenzas for free as long as I covered shipping. Great christmas gift if you ask me. Thanks again Joe. So 7 days later these showed up at my door.

But here is a sad part. Because of some problems with my suspension my tires are getting chewed up...even with my alignment being in spec im still chewing up tires. With my car almost hitting 100,000 miles on stock suspension I figured out I need some new shocks and springs. I had to make a hard decision.

I had to either sell the 350Z wheels and fix the problem or keep chewing up tires. I didn't want to sell the 350Z wheels cause I liked how they looked on my Z but I can't go trough tires this fast....being in college and not having enough time to work I can't afford new tires and even tho I got lucky once with Sppdracer helping me out next time needing tires I won't get lucky.

So while trying to decide if I should sell the 350Z or would someone even buy them and starting to worry about where I could get the money to get springs, shocks and adjustable tension rods a good friend of mine mentioned something.

Just out of a joke he mentions "hey if they fit on my Mk3 Supra i'll buy them from you"...so we get his car to my house and see if they fit....and voila

We started just laughing since we both hadd no idea they would fit....they fit perfectly and have plenty of room...he does need some hub centeric spacers since it seems the hubs are different size but other than that everything is fine. We parked his car outside and just looked at it for awhile and agreed that since the Mk3 has alot of straight lines the wheels match it decently. I mentioned to him that some people might criticize him for having 350Z wheels on his Supra but he said he doesn't mined since anything is better than the stock Mk3 wheels.

So I my friend paid me for the wheels and I was relieved that I can fix the problem with my suspension. I put my stock wheels back and thought that I made the right decision. So hopefull I did =) but aside from all that check out my shiny single chrome wheel!

oh and to all the fellas who are gonna try to pour salt into my wounds about my chrome wheels....I got a pair of rear TT wheels coming to me ;)

TT rears + Chrome + Black 2+2 = The hawtness.

anyways, thanks again Sppdracer...guess there are still nice people in today's society :)

I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!" (Having a conversation about hail damage) - BradZ (FL) on March 25, 2005 at 9:56 PM

Tell your friend that you could take a dump, light it on fire and that would be hotter shit than his car. Probes suck, that's just all there is to it. - 300ZXpert (someday) on April 04, 2005 at 11:35 PM
